Wish they got the Stig to test it, instead of spoiling the most important review in years by giving it to a useless geriatric tosser.

Damage that occurs while the traction control is off (ie Launch control) is not covered under the Nissan warranty. BUT the 2010 GTR’s do 0-60 in 3.5 without launch control.

launch control does not void warranty on the newest gtr’s

and all that for under 90,000$ fuck u ferrari and porsche owners… by the way, for the ones who r intrested, go to wikipedia and type Nürburgring lap times.

lol wait… if you use launch control you void your warranty AND the tranny explodes? How disappointing is that? GTR is a GREAT track car; and the price is right; but it will never be anything in the streets; and thats alright; because the truth is its a great JDM, and NOT an exotic. I’ll take the R8 please.

@hoemmed in japan the warranty stays but other places they don’t want to deal with it because they’d have to send it back to japan.

@hoemmed why do you think about of NISSAN GTR??

  16. #16 by hoemmed on February 5, 2010 - 1:28 am

    GTR = playstation on wheels.

If you use launch control or take vdc off = warranty expires. wich is stupid as fuck. gtr has also HUGE gearbox problems.

i actually think the 911 has a much bigger heritage, i agree with you in that but this car will have an heritage, probably not as big as the 911 in a near future but it will.

what i mean is that the GT-R has a huge potencial to give Nissan an heritage

  19. #19 by leoapoelellas on February 5, 2010 - 3:18 am

the 911 is a pure sportscar..the gt-r is an amazingly fast and high-tech 4seater saloon! yes it doesn’t have the heritage of the 911..but so does audi compared to mercedes..this doesn’t stop them on making better cars though..

@JZ1917 When the GT-R surpasses the heritage of a 911, then we will talk.

  21. #21 by JZ1917 on February 5, 2010 - 5:12 am

it just has, with the GT-R

  22. #22 by ww1113rd on February 5, 2010 - 5:23 am

    2010 changes that. 3.5 w/o Launch control

  23. #23 by Charlie819boy on February 5, 2010 - 5:35 am

this car is awsome. too bad the launch control on the car will jack up your transmission after a couple launches.
