Toyota halts sales of some vehicles due to pedals
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) – Toyota Motor Corp. on Tuesday said that it is temporarily halting the sale of eight models, including some of its best sellers, believed to be at risk of having sticking accelerator pedals.

Toyota Halts Sales Of Vehicles Hit By Recall
Toyota is suspending U.S. sales of eight recalled vehicle models to fix accelerator pedals that stick. As part of the plan, Toyota is halting production at five manufacturing facilities for the week of Feb. 1. There are 2.3 million vehicles involved in the recall, which was announced last week.

Toyota recalls 2.3M vehicles for pedal jams
Toyota Motor Corp. announced another big recall Thursday, of 2.3 million cars and trucks, to fix “sticking” gas pedals. The Japanese automaker said the problem occurs rarely and is unrelated to reports of “unintended acceleration” that provoked a recall in September of more than 4 million vehicles.
